For our customer – The NCI Agency, we are looking for experienced Building engineer for SHAPE in Mons.

Duties:

• work in a team of five providing Engineering Support (Various) which focusses on building refurbishment, CIS cabling, Power Supply
• installation and distribution activities for the implementation of a NCI Agency Service Operations Centre to support NATO and SHAPE network services 24/7.
• undertake the execution of a range of important technical and engineering tasks.
• Building Electrical Engineer for provision of power for all workspaces
• Additionally responsible for the implementation of the generator and UPS backup system.
• Responsible for all building power, Air Conditioning, heating and lighting requirements.

Requirements/Skills:

• A university degree in Electronic Systems, Power Engineering, Project Management or closely related scientific or engineering discipline qualifications
• Experience (at least two years) in various areas of engineering including the following:
  • Design and implementation of power systems for CIS.
  • Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and implementing them
  • Applying knowledge of electricity and materials in construction sites.
  • Confirms system’s and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods in accordance to industry standards.
  • Implement electrical products by studying customer requirements and transferring them into implementation plans.
  • Experience in implementing heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems
  • Experience in building automation systems
  • Designing and implementing diesel generators for back-up power supplies.
  • Building UPS Systems in particular for supporting CIS Sytems
  • Experience in refrigeration and building lighting and electrical systems

This role requires sound technical background in the civil works, CIS management and the ability to demonstrate tact as a member of multinational technical teams. It further includes co-operating closely with contractors as well as internal stakeholders in diverse organizations.

NATO SECRET Security clearance is mandatory.
